Poor value - why do we have to pay for advertising?Review date: 2008-12-30 Rating: 2 out of 10Basically a list of products that Hornby sell with colour pictures.
There are a few useful hints but any attempt to show you how to wire up gizmos or the principles behind designing an effective layout are just not there. The few useful bits of info seem to be done through diagrams that are too small and with insufficient information.
Add to that - it is really an A4 landscape rather thin magazine rather than a book and it is pretty poor value.
If you like pretty pictures of Hornby models or you want a catalogue of what is available in the Hornby track and accessories range then you will probably like it but as a useful companion to designing anything or actually putting together a layout (other than with a trackmat) it is pretty pointless.
Disappointed.
