Quality disappointingReview date: 2010-08-18 Rating: 4 out of 10Sorry but I agree with the more negative reviews. My two children were very excited to be bought this for Christmas. It's easy to set up and the controls are fairly easy to use so is suitable for young children with small hands, but like other reviewers we had the same problems of 'stop start', cars stopping completely on the track and when they did move flying off the edges. The contact point between the cars and the track isn't very good. The set isn't very durable, a piee of track snapped off as my four year old tried to dismantle it. The tops come off the cars (although they are easy to clip back on) The bumper edges don't stay stuck on the sides of the track. All tht said though the children sis enjoy playing with it, but I wish we'd invested in a more expensive and hopefully more durable set.

The controls are far too sensitive, my son (3) coundn't guage the amount of pressure on the trigger at all. The slightest press on the trigger sent the cars flying off the tracks and he became tired of putting them back on. The cars have small strips of contact wire underneath them. These were not that secure so due to the constant on off track situation they bacame loose and got lost. Now we have a toy we can't use, not that my son misses it at all.GREAT FUNReview date: 2010-02-19 Rating: 8 out of 10Bought for my 3 year old grandson who mastered the hand control in no time at all and has great fun with the set. My only criticism is that the plastic barriers (for the track corners) keep coming off and the ramps holding up the top track from the bottom are very flimsy and come apart very easily which is VERY fraustrating. Perhaps performance would be better if track was set on a hard floor rather than carpet. Got the set and set it up - the track is poorly made and fits badly leading to issues with cars unable to get current all the way round the track. With the age range this is designed for, durability/simplicity is the key. This is fragile, both the track and the cars and I've ended up sending it back.
