2 years of fun and still going strong !Review date: 2010-09-04 Rating: 10 out of 10We purchased this for our son's first birthday and two years later it is still going strong, having been played with nearly every day. This has to be one of the best value for money items we have bought him - first he used it as a walker and now he zooms round on it or pushes his friends, uses it as a chair and also a hidey hole for squirreling away other toys. It's always one of the first toys that young children make for when they visit our house.
I was almost put off purchasing this by some of the older reviews which refer to the item requiring batteries - not the case for the version which has been sold for over 2 years now.
Beware, however, that our son subsequently became a complete Thomas-head after this first purchase of the Thomas brand!!

Good fun, but description is misleading!Review date: 2010-08-03 Rating: 8 out of 10I was disappointed to discover upon receiving this item that it doesn't play the theme tune as stated in the product description. From reading other reviews for this product it appears that it used to play music, but that Tomy changed the design because the batteries needed changing frequently and people must have complained about the cost. It now has a squeezy horn. The description needs to be updated! Other than that out little boy adores this toy. He loves being pushed round on it (he's a little bit little at just turned one to be pushing himself - his legs don't quite reach the ground!), and the good thing is it doubles as a walker. Plus the storage compartment under the seat is a good idea (although not a very big space - don't expect to be able to use it as an extra toy box or anything), we've been using it to play hide 'n find with him. A good solid toy he can grow into, and I'm sure will last him a good couple of years. He still uses it for transporting toys around, of course play has developed from toddling along with it. It is very hard wearing having survived numerous pushes down the stairs and trips outside. Would recommend.
